Dear friends, dear comrades of KOE,
We take the opportunity of your congress to send our warm greetings to the workers and people of Greece and to all the organizations that organize the resistance to the policy of mega austerity imposed by the so called troika, the striking fist of financial oligarchy. In these moments, the international solidarity must develop stronger than ever. We have participated to different demonstrations and meetings in solidarity with the people of Greece, shouting our determination to oppose the new European treaty which wants to impose austerity and fix it as a “rule” for all the countries.
We salute your militants. Be sure that our party is working hard for the unity of the progressive, militant left organizations, to build a common political and social front to oppose neoliberal policy and impose profound ruptures with the capitalist system in deep crisis. Tomorrow, the 18th of March, anniversary of the “Commune of Paris”, we shall demonstrate with thousands of people, in a demonstration called by the “Left Front” in which we are engaged with other political forces; we shall shout our solidarity with the workers, people, youth, and peasants of Greece!
